The NRP has arrested four men from Ottawa in connection to a fraudulent prescription case.
The investigation began yesterday, when one of the men had what appeared to be a valid prescription.
He requested that a family member pick it up for him, saying he had COVID-19 and was self-isolating.
Four males arrived at the pharmacy near Valley Way and Stanley Avenue in Niagara Falls.
One of the men passed a fraudulent prescription in an attempt to obtain liquid Hydrocodone.
Police arrived on the scene and arrested all four of the men.
Twenty-two year old William Sprague, 22 year old Zakariah Mohamud, 23 year old Ahmed Sahil Waziry and 23 year old Hassan Mairane are facing several charges, including Possession of a Schedule I Substance and Conspiracy to Commit and indictable Offence.
Police also seized the car they were traveling in - a black 2018, 4 door Honda Accord with an Ontario license plate.

Investigators believe there may be similar incidents involving these males and this vehicle across the province.
