Niagara Region Public Health has flagged four beaches as unsafe for swimming.
In Fort Erie, algae has been detected at Waverly Beach.
Meanwhile, Fity Point Conservation Beach in Grimsby, Sunset Beach in St. Catharines and Long Beach in Wainfleet have been posted due to the presence of E.coli.
During the summer month, Niagara Region Public Health frequently tests the water at area beaches to reduce the risk of injury or illness.
