More COVID-19 cases at local schools.
The DSBN has confirmed four more cases of the virus.
Four schools have one new individual case: Diamond Trail in Welland, Oakridge Public School in St. Catharines, Prince of Wales in Thorold and Senator Gibson in Beamsville.
Contact tracing has been conducted, and students and staff who had close contact with the infected people have been advised to self-isolate at home.
A thorough cleaning of all four schools has been conducted.
In addition, each school will receive a visit from a Public Health Inspector and a Public Health Nurse.
