Mandatory vaccine policy for staff to blame for driver shortage
A heads up from Metrolinx, if you take GO to get to work or school check the schedule before you leave.
Metrolinx officials say with the loss of 150 staff members, who have not complied with their mandatory vaccine policy, they are short drivers for a second week.
Officials say this has resulted in the cancellation of a limited number of GO Transit bus and train trips.
Metrolinx adds staff have worked to ensure the trips chosen have low ridership, are spread out across the region and the passengers have other train or bus options.
Riders can go to the website for updates or download the GO Tracker for real time information about departure times
