Today is the day workers have to prove they are fully vaccinated to stay on the job
Metrolinx has posted on the GO website "riders can expect operational impacts this week that will result in the cancellation of some trips."
Today is the first day Metrolinx employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID or provide proof of a medical exemption.
If they don't they will be placed on unpaid leave.
Transit officials say they are doing their best to minimize impacts to service but anticipate they may be short drivers.
