Province says it'll help many sectors including agriculture and transportation
The Ontario government has passed a law it says is designed to increase competitiveness and make government services easier to access.
Minister of Red Tape Reduction, Parm Gill, says the Less Red Tape, Stronger Ontario Act will remove outdated regulations.
Highlights include removing barriers to support greater investment in emission reducing technologies, increasing court room capacity, and providing more tools to municipalities to improve supply chain efficiency.
Minister of Agriculture Lisa Thompson adds it'll help investment in innovation and research.
