Habitat Niagara "Home For Dinner" fundraiser returning for a second year.
Habitat for Humanity Niagara is once again holding its Home For Dinner Community Fundraiser.
Throughout the month of May, for every order of at least $25 from a participating local restaurant, $5 will be donated to Habitat's home building projects.
"We couldn’t be happier to hold this initiative for a second year in a row," explains Lorraine Snihur, Chief Development Officer with Habitat Niagara. "With support from the community and our generous sponsoring partners, local restaurants increase their revenue and Habitat Niagara receives funds to support our mission. It’s a win-win!"
Last year, the initiative generated over $385,000 for restaurants suffering during the pandemic, as well as $30,000 for Habitat Niagara.
A list of participating restaurants can be found here.
