Hamilton Police say just before 9:30 a.m. this morning, a garbage truck drove into a ditch and hit a nearby pole.
A man in his 60s from Haldimand-Norfolk County was killed.
The collision forced the closure of Highway 52 between Governors Road and Concession Road 2 for several hours.
