Lynn Guerriero says protests are demoralizing for healthcare workers everywhere

Dozens demonstrated outside Toronto General Hospital and the Ontario legislature yesterday.
The protests were organized by a group calling itself Canadian Frontline Nurses.
The group says the demonstrations were meant as a critique of the public health measures put in place to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Niagara Health President Lynn Guerriero says “We have not experienced a protest at Niagara Health; however, these protests are demoralizing for our teams and healthcare workers everywhere who have so dutifully and compassionately put patients and their families first since the pandemic began.”
Guerriero adds “We stand strong with Niagara Health’s staff and physicians and with healthcare workers across the country who continue to sacrifice so much to provide safe, quality healthcare in this unprecedented time of need.”
