Police say a man climbed over the retaining wall and fell into the gorge this morning.
One person has been arrested after a man was extricated from the Niagara Gorge.
Niagara Parks Police say emergency crews were called to the area of River Road near Otter Street around 7 AM this morning.
Investigators say a man climbed over the retaining wall and fell about ten feet into the gorge headwall.
He was extricated to street level without any injuries, but climbed back over the retaining wall in the presence of police.
The man has been charged with trespassing.
