Update: Man charged in murder, police were called Friday to the St. Catharines house
Update: Tuesday afternoon
Police have arrested and charged 40-year old Joshua St. Omer of St. Catharines with 2nd degree murder.
He was arrested this morning, remains in custody, and has a bail hearing today.
Police add the identity of the woman is not being released at this time.

The NRPS homicide unit is investigating a sudden death in St. Catharines.
On Friday afternoon police were called to a home near Lakeshore Road and Lake Street for a report of two people without vital signs.
A woman was found dead inside the home while a man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
