Hoverlink Ontario says the project is taking longer than originally expected
Plans to launch a hovercraft service between St. Catharines and Toronto have been postponed.
Hoverlink Ontario says the launch of the hovercraft service has been delayed because timelines to complete the project are running longer than expected.
In September, Hoverlink announced it was in the final approval stages to launch a rapid transit route between Port Weller and Ontario Place, carrying up to 180 passengers.
At the time, the company noted the plan had been in the works for about ten years.
There is no word yet on when the service will launch now.
