The main trails at Heartland Forest are closed due to a police investigation.
Yesterday, the NRP were called to the area of Brown Road and Heartland Forest Road in Niagara Falls.
Investigators discovered human remains, and the case is being investigated by detectives from the NRP and the Forensic Services Unit.
Detectives have requested the assistance of a Forensic Anthropologist to assist with identifying the deceased person.
The trails will remain closed while the investigation continues.
