The first round of property tax bills have been mailed out.
St. Catharines homeowners will have until 4:30 p.m. on Friday February 28th to pay their bill.
If you miss the deadline, you will face a penalty charge of 1.25 percent on the first business day of each month until it's paid.
If you don't receive your bill in the mail, you should contact Citizens First by calling 905-688-5600 or sending an e-mail to CitizensFirst@stcatharines.ca.
You can pay your bill at most banks or at City Hall.
Property tax bills will be due four times this year; Friday February 28th, Thursday April 30th, Tuesday June 30th and Wednesday September 30th.
