Controversial rock 'n' roll pioneer has died at age 87.
Rock 'n' roll pioneer Jerry Lee Lewis has died at the age of 87.
According to spokesperson Zach Furman, the controversial musician died this morning at his home in Memphis, Tennessee.
He was best known for the songs "Great Balls of Fire" and "Whole Lotta Shakin' Going On."
Lewis' infamous private life included a marriage to his cousin Myra Gale Brown, who was 13 (possibly even 12) at the time.
