It’s back to class today for thousands of Niagara students, the first time since before Xmas
As they head to school, don’t forget to pack masks for the little ones
The province has put several new protocols in place including mandatory masks for students in grades 1 through 3.
Masks are also required outdoors where physical distancing is not possible.
Meantime, parents may also find out this week whether March Break will be cancelled or not.
Education Minister Stephen Lecce indicating last week, he will let parents know this week.
Lecce stressing the decision will be made exclusively on medical advice.
He says "If they believe that cancelling the break to disincentive travel and is in the best interest of public health, I'm going to follow that advice full stop."
