We had a slight dip in the number of new COVID-19 cases in Niagara.
Public Health reported nine new cases yesterday which is still the smallest increase so far this week.
We had 17 new cases on Tuesday, 11 on Monday and 16 on Sunday.
We currently have 146 active cases throughout the Region and 10 active outbreaks.
Five of those outbreaks are in long-term care homes including Lundy Manor in Niagara Falls, Pioneer Elder Care in St. Catharines and Shalom Gardens in Grimsby.
Three people are currently being treated for the virus in our local Niagara Health hospitals.
