Port Cares has received a cheque for $10,000 from Leon's Furniture Limited.
The money will be going to directly to the Reach Out Centre to help run the food bank, meal program and family support programs.
Executive Director Christine Clark Lefleur says Port Cares relies on donations and they haven't been able to hold any of their fundraising events this year due to the pandemic.
Leon's started out as a family business in Welland back in 1909 and some members of the Leon family still live in the Region.
