A delegation from Lincoln participated in over 10 meetings during the AMO conference this week.
They discussed several topics with provincial officials including the need for a north-south crossing for the Niagara Escarpment and the rebuilding of West Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
They also talked about how provincial funding would benefit the redevelopment of Jordan Lions Club Park.
It would help the town pay for a new gym, multi-purpose courts and two soccer fields and fund improvements to the pool and arena.
Mayor Sandra Easton says investing in local infrastructure will invigorate the our local economy.
The virtual conference kicked off on Monday and it wrapped up yesterday.
