Donations of dry goods being collected
Several Niagara churches are collecting donations to help residents in war torn Ukraine.
St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church will accept donations through to Saturday of dry goods including diapers, formula, hygiene products and medical supplies.

The donations will be shipped to Poland and then sent across the border into the Ukraine
Meantime, Sts Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Church in the Garden City, as well as St. Mary Nativity of the Holy Mother of God Ukrainian Church on Main Street in Niagara Falls are also accepting donations including protective equipment such as vests and helmets for civilians who are fighting the Russians.
Both churches are accepting monetary donations through their parish offices or online.
