
Police were called to a Niagara Falls apartment in January
A man wanted in relation to a dog getting shot in Niagara Falls has been arrested.
Police were called to an apartment building on Jepson Street back in January, to learn a man visited the occupants of a room, and while showing a gun in his waistband, it went off, hitting a dog.
The suspect took off.
Police have been looking for 26-year old Anthony Angoy of Thorold, and on Tuesday found him in Hamilton, the gun is still missing.
He was charged:
- Careless Use of a Firearm
- Possession of a Restricted Firearm Knowingly Not a License Holder
- Possess Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
- Possess Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order X 2
He had a bail hearing yesterday, the dog recovered.
