Police were called to Richard Pierpoint Park in St. Catharines, for reports of man with gun and drugs
Police were called on Monday to Richard Pierpoint Park in St. Catharines over reports of a man with a gun and fentanyl.
When they got there, police found he did not have a gun, but did have some drugs and items used in drug trafficking.
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl)
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Hydromorphone)
- Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime Under $5000
Police seized the following items.
- 105.4 grams of suspected fentanyl
- 247 suspected Dilaudid pills (Hydromorphone)
- $2646 in Canadian currency
Police say 33-year old Trevor Bentz of no fixed address was charged, remained in custody, and had a bail hearing yesterday.
