Police say an SUV and empty school bus collided head on in Lincoln, both vehicles demolished
A 29-year old Lincoln man has been charged with impaired driving after a serious 2-vehicle crash in Lincoln.
Police say it happened around 6 last night, on Fly Road near Walker Road.
They found an empty school bus and SUV collided head on, both were demolished, ending up in the ditch and field on opposite sides of the road.
Amazingly, the 42-year old West Lincoln woman driving the bus received minor injuries, the driver of the SUV sent to hospital with serious injuries, believed now to be non life threatening.
Police add the driver of the SUV, Joseph Fuca, was arrested at the hospital, but eventually released from custody with a January court date.
He's charged with:
- Dangerous Driving
- Impaired Operation
Police opened the road late last night.
