Police say a man was wielding a knife toward another in St. Catharines
Police taking care of a situation in St. Catharines in which they say a man was displaying a knife toward another man.
Officers were called late yesterday morning, concerning an armed individual, in the Church and Queenston Street area.
When police arrived, the suspect ran off towards Niagara Street, but police were able to find him near Niagara and Queenston Streets.
39-year old Brian Hamilton of no fixed address is charged with possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.
He was released from custody with a June court date.
There were no injuries.
