Police say the car became airborne, before rolling near Port Colborne intersection
Two impaired driving charges have been laid against a 55-year old Port Colborne man after a single car crash.
Police were called yesterday afternoon, just before 3, to an area near Welland and Killaly Street East.
They found a blue 2017 Volkwagen was in the ditch, and the driver, the only person in the car, trapped. He was treated for what's believed to be non life-threatening injuries, and taken to hospital.
Police found the driver lost control, the car hit a curb and became airborne, landing about 200 metres away, and then rolled two or three times before stopping in the ditch.
Wade W. Crawford is charged, and released from custody with a future court date, and received a 90 day licence suspension.
