Police say it happened in Welland at an East Main Street apartment building, the victim and accused know each other
A 38-year old Welland man has been charged after a stabbing in Welland over the weekend.
Police were called early Saturday afternoon to an apartment building on East Main Street, where they found a man in his early 30s with a serious injury.
He was taken to an out of region hospital.
Police have charged John Anthony Visca with aggravated assault, and two counts of breaking a probation order.
He had a bail hearing yesterday in St. Catharines.
Police add the two men know each other.
