Police are looking for witnesses after the attack in Niagara Falls
Niagara Regional police are seeking witnesses to find out who is responsible for a stabbing in Niagara Falls.
They were called to the Victoria Avenue and Buttrey Street area just before 10 yesterday morning, to find a 37-year old Niagara Falls man had been assaulted with a weapon.
Police say he was taken to an out-of-town trauma centre with what was believed to be life-threatening injuries. Fortunately those injuries are now considered non life-threatening, while he remains in hospital.
Police believe this was a targeted assault that happened in an encampment to the south of Buttrey Street.
If you have video footage of the area, you're asked to call police.
