Police say the vehicle rolled while the man was getting inside the car
A man has been hospitalized after being hit by his own vehicle.
Around 8:51 this morning, emergency crews were called to a home on Battersea Avenue near Ferndale Avenue in St. Catharines.
Police say a 34 year old man was getting into his car when the transmission shifted from park to neutral, causing the vehicle to roll.
He became pinned between his car and his house.
The man suffered a leg injury, and was taken to an out of region trauma centre.
Police say there is no evidence to suggest this was anything besides an accident.
