NRP say Welland man has been arrested twice
A Welland man has been arrested again on more child luring charges, following an initial investigation that began in March.
Police arrested 39-year old Johnathan Jeffrey Ahlstedt at the beginning of April, laying four charges in relation to child luring over the internet.
He had a bail hearing the following day.
Police now tell us on Friday, he was arrested again, police laying another five charges:
- Telecommunication with a person under, or believed to be under, 18 for the purpose of facilitating the making of child pornography – Section 172.1(1)(a)
- Make available sexually explicit material to a person under, or believed to be under, 18 – Section 171.1(1)(a)
- Unlawful possession of child pornography – Section 163.1(4)
- Telecommunication with a person under, or believed to be under, 16 for the purpose of facilitating the making of child pornography – Section 172.1(1)(b)
- Telecommunication with a person under, or believed to be under, 18 for the purpose of facilitating an invitation to sexual touching – Section 172.1(1)(a)
He had a bail hearing on Saturday.
