Police say officers fired at him as he showed a gun while in Terminal 1 departures, the man died at hospital
A 30-year old man is dead after a shooting at Pearson airport this morning.
Peel regional police say they were called to Terminal 1 departures at around 7, to look into a man in distress in an SUV.
Police say as they found him, he showed a gun, at which time three officers fired at him.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The province's Special Investigations Unit is looking into this, adding no officers were hurt, and there's no known threat to the public.
