NRP have already arrested one man, after equipment taken from a church and sold
Police need your help to identify a man wanted in relation to the theft of some air conditioning equipment from a Welland church.
They were called March 11th to St. Kevin's Catholic church on Niagara Street, to find two men broke in, and took parts of the air conditioning.
Damage was estimated at around $20,000, and police say the suspects then went to a recycling plant and sold the stolen property.
On May 26th police arrested 34-year old Jacob Golden of Welland, charging him with:
- Break and enter to commit an indictable offence
- Trafficking in property obtained by crime
- Fail to comply with a probation order
He remains in custody waiting for a bail hearing.
Police are also looking for the 2nd suspect, who police have shown in the picture.
