A Welland man who just won the lottery needed a store clerk to convince his wife he won.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says Richard Borgatti, a healthcare worker, won a $350,000 top prize with Instant Crossword Extreme.
The grandfather of one has been playing for 20-years, and initially thought he'd won $3,500.
He adds if wife didn't believe him, and had to get the store clerk to prove it.
They plan travel to China to visit his son, who lives there, also spoil his grandchild, and retire.
The ticket was bought at Best Mart on Rice Road in Welland.
