Smooshi and her calf Koyuk moving to Sea World in Abu Dhabi
Smooshi the walrus and her calf Kyouk have left Marineland in Niagara Falls.
Phil Demers, a former employee, turned animal activist says the pair are on their way to Sea World in Abu Dhabi.
"Despite this being in breach of our settlement agreement, I am ecstatic that they are off to a brand new and improved facility, and out of MarineLand forever."
In September, Marineland dropped a $1.5 million lawsuit against Demers and agreed to move the pair.
Since then, Marineland has registered to lobby the Ontario government in hopes of selling the park.
