Motorcycle Rider Dies After Crash

Police say it happened on River Street in Thorold

A sad update from police concerning the rider of a motorcycle that crashed earlier this month in Thorold.

Emergency crews were called August 8th, to find the single vehicle crash on River Street, south of Cross.

They determined the driver of the black Harley was heading south on River, but could not handle the bend in the road and crashed, suffering life threatening injuries.

Police say he died of his injuries on Sunday.
