Niagara Centre MP Fred Davies demanded change, after telling of recent chilling child sexual assaults
Niagara Centre's Conservative MP demanding the federal government change the justice system to keep repeat violent sex offenders in jail.
Fred Davies stood in the House of Commons yesterday, first pointing to Daniel Senecal's attack on a 12-year old boy in his riding. "While on parole this monster attacked and sexually abused his next victim, Little E, a 3-year old little girl... Almost killing her and leaving her fighting for her life before fire fighters arrived on the scene. The failed Liberal justice policies have allowed for repeat child sex offenders to be let out early."
Justice Minister Sean Fraser said changes are coming, including harsher sentences and stricter conditions on bail reform. He hopes crimes like this are not used as political fodder.
Prior to that answer, and based on Liberal track record, Conservatives loudly mocked him when he said criminals need to stay in jail, after questioned by Brantford Conservative MP Larry Brock.
