Canada's National Advisory Committee on Immunizations (NACI) says it's safe to get Pfizer or Moderna for a second dose if you first received an AstraZeneca shot.
Over two million Canadians received AstraZeneca shots before several provinces stopped administering the vaccine.
The NACI also says that since the technology between the two vaccines is similar, Pfizer and Moderna doses can be mixed for first and second vaccinations.
Previously, the NACI had recommended getting the same shot for both doses.
