Police were called earlier this month to a house in St. Catharines, found dead woman and injured man
We now know the name of a woman murdered earlier this month in a home in St. Catharines.
Police were called May 15th to the Lakeshore Road and Lake Street area over reports of two people without vital signs.
They found a dead woman, who they now say was 23-year old Vidhi Kalpeshkumar Megha, and another man who was sent to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
A days later police charged that man, 40-year old Joshua St. Omer of St. Catharines with 2nd degree murder, he had a bail hearing the next day.
Police add this was an isolated case, and there's no ongoing threat to public safety.
