A controlled burn in Wainfleet has been postponed indefinitely.
The training opportunity was planned for April 4th and was part of a new fire hall build.
The burn affiliates included Mohawk College, the Ontario Municipal Fire Prevention Officers Association and different fire departments around Niagara.
As well, the new Fire Hall which was to be built on that site, is also on hold due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Background work will continue, such as research.
