Rules are in effect
Non essential travellers crossing the Rainbow Bridge and Peace Bridges are now required to give themselves a self-administered COVID test
The new program expanded to 11 more border crossings yesterday including the two Niagara bridges
When people arrive at the border they will be given two testing kits, once they administer inside a testing trailer
The second test is supposed to be used on day 10 of the traveller’s 14 day quarantine
Travellers still have to present proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken in the last 72 hours and follow existing quarantine requirements.
