Niagara Catholic has confirmed an outbreak of COVID-19 at one of its schools, and an individual case at another.
The outbreak was declared after two more people at St. Charles Catholic Elementary School in Thorold tested positive for the virus.
These individuals are connected to a case at the school that was confirmed on Monday.
Three classrooms at the school have been closed due to the outbreak.
In addition, one person at Saint Michael Catholic High School in Niagara Falls has also tested positive.
Anyone who was exposed to the virus while the individual was contagious has been received a message Niagara Region Public Health through the school.
All of the infected individuals are confirmed to be in self-isolation.
