Board says there are five more cases
In release, the board says it has been advised of four new cases of COVID-19 at St. Augustine in Welland, bringing the current case count to five.
Of those, only three individuals are connected to the class already in isolation, and one required the closure of a second classroom.
School officials have also been advised of a second, single case at St. Alexander in Fonthill.
All affected students and staff are now in self-isolation, on the direction of Niagara Region Public Health.
