A Niagara Catholic student is using his love of hockey for a good cause.
Andre Bilodeau, a fourth grade student at St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Elementary School in St. Catharines, decided to take action when he hear the Ranking Cancer Run had been cancelled due to the pandemic.
Bilodeau is helping to raise funds through a virtual Rankin Run.
On May 29th, he plans to take 1,000 shots on net, hitting as many targets as possible in order to raise money for the cause.
So far, he's raised over $1,800, with an additional $800 in pledges.
