For the seventh year in a row, Niagara College is one of the country's top 10 colleges for research funding.
Niagara College is getting some national recognition.
Based on the annual ranking by Research Infosource, for the 2020 school year, the college is one of the country's top three colleges for research funding.
It's the seventh year in a row Niagara College has landed a top ten spot.
"We are delighted to see this continued recognition as one of Canada’s top colleges in research funding. Research and innovation continues as a key priority for NC, as we deliver value to our community, to industry, to students and our faculty," said Niagara College president Sean Kennedy. "Our funders see this dedication to innovation at work year after year - and throughout the pandemic - and they continue to invest in us."
The school attracted $13.9 million in funding for innovative projects involving industry partners in sectors such as food and beverage, precision agriculture and advanced manufacturing.
As well, of all the country's medium-sized colleges, Niagara College came in first in industry research income.
