College is donating -80 degrees ultra low temperature freezer
Niagara Public Health will be able to use the freezer to store the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine which requires specialized storage.
The donated freezer was previously used in the lab at the college's Canadian Food and Wine Innovation Centre at its Niagara on the Lake campus.
Last spring the College donated thousands of masks and gloves to the Niagara Health system to help protect health care workers against the coronavirus.
