Carolynn Ioannoni has been suspended from Niagara Falls City Council for 90 days.
The city has removed her from boards and committees and suspended her pay effectively immediately.
She was found in breach of the city's code of conduct by an integrity commissioner.
Ioannoni disclosed confidential information publicly last fall, about funding for the Niagara Falls Ryerson Innovation Hub.
This was on top of a previous breach back in 2017.
The two incidents led to the 90 days suspension.
