Will ask city council for approval
The BIA says if council say yes, parking will be free on Queen Street and in municipal lots for holiday shoppers for the remainder of November and all of December.
BIA Chair Ron Charbonneau says they hope the move will encourage people to come down and visit the Christmas Market which officially opened for the season on Saturday.
The market will run every weekend until December 19th on Fridays: 5:00 – 10:00 pm, Saturdays 1:00 – 10:00 pm, and Sundays 11:00 – 6:00.
