It’s now a lot easier to buy local produce in Niagara Falls.
The farmers market opened on Saturday in the parking lot of the McBain Community Centre.
The new space allows more room for physical distancing, but it's only a temporary location during the construction of the new Cultural Hub.
The market will be open every Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. but the first hour will be reserved for seniors and essential workers.
Only a limited number of customers will be allowed on site at a time and hand washing stations will be available.
All vendors must also wear face masks and disinfect their stalls regularly.
