An opportunity to honour Niagara Falls fire fighters who have died in the line of duty, or from work related illness, is Sunday.
The fire department is having its Line of Duty Death Ceremony, starting at 10am, at the station on Morrison Street.
Retired Captain Gary McIntosh, retired Platoon Chief Jack (Jesse) James, and retired Captain William Collett will be added to the memorial.
The first Line of Duty Death ceremony was December 15th, 2004, and the new memorial was revealed September 11th, 2018.
With the addition of the aforementioned Captains, 19 fire fighters have been memorialized since the first ceremony.
