A man from Niagara Falls is facing drug and weapons-related charges.
Last month, NRP officers began investigating possible criminal activity in the area of Oakwood Drive and McLeod Road in the Falls.
On Wednesday, a suspect was identified after a search warrant at a storage unit turned up 690 rounds of 9mm ammunition, a 9mm semi-automatic rifle, and loaded prohibited firearm magazines.
Yesterday, the suspect attended Niagara Regional Police Service headquarters in Niagara Falls as required by previous release conditions.
A search of the suspect led to officers seizing 25.8 grams of purple fentanyl, a digital scale and $2110 in Canadian currency.
The drugs have an estimated street value of $7800.
Thirty-four year old Jimmy Alan Carson of Niagara Falls was arrested.
He faces several charges relating to drug and weapon possession.
