Police say local residents scammed out of more than $39,000.00.
A man from Niagara Falls has been charged in connection to a contractor fraud investigation.
Police say members of the public would enter into contracts with the owner of Pasha's Concrete Corporation.
Victims were told a deposit would be required before any concrete work was started, but no work would be done after the money was paid.
Investigators claim residents were defrauded over $39,000.00.
Facing charges of Fraud Under $5,000 and Fraud Over $5,000 is 32 year old Hakan Akgul.
A court date has been scheduled.
